WATERTOWN, NY (April 22, 2024) – WPBS-TV, the PBS affiliate serving Northern New York and Eastern Ontario with the finest public media content is pleased to announce the kick-off of the 2024 WPBS Fundraising Auction. The Online Preview begins on April 22, at which time registration will be available. Please note that items are being added daily so not everything will appear in the preview. Items include weekend get-aways, local attraction passes, artisan pieces, Caribbean stays, furniture, fine jewelry, restaurant gift certificates, and much more.
Participating in the WPBS Auction is as easy as a click via computer or mobile phone. To register, go to wpbstv.org/auction. Online bidding starts on April 29, 2024. Anyone who is unable to access the online guide or needs assistance bidding, please call 315-782-3142 ext. 225 or ext. 319.
The live broadcast of the Auction on WPBS will take place over 7 consecutive evenings from Monday, April 29 through Sunday, May 5 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm each evening. All items will close on Sunday, May 5 at 9:00 pm. All 7 nights of on-air programming will also be streaming on Facebook and at wpbstv.org.

All proceeds from the Auction help WPBS continue to provide quality educational programs and initiatives at no cost to everyone across Northern New York and Eastern Ontario.
