PBS and local stations across the country have curated FREE, standards-aligned videos, interactives, lesson plans, local events and more for teachers like you.
Cyberchase: Green It Up! is a hands-on program designed for children ages 6-8 to inspire a deep appreciation for nature, build STEM skills, and help students feel empowered to take action in their communities to care for the planet, just like their favorite characters from Cyberchase. Resources for the activites are provided by WNET.
WPBS EDUCATION
Education is at the heart of WPBS. It informs and enriches everything we do. We strive to inspire those we serve to fulfill their potential as lifelong learners. We offer ​an extensive ​collection ​of ​free learning resources for classroom and distance learning, aligned to New York State curriculum. Our GPS For Success career planning platform supports students in their exploration of possible career paths.
When schools closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, causing thousands of students in our area to be without access to educational instruction, WPBS was here to support families, educators and students – especially those without reliable access to high-speed internet.
