Watertown, NY – WPBS is featuring two community partners during their September Membership Drive running September 7 through 15. On Saturday, September 7, the Rotary Club of West Ottawa will be answering phones and providing their 2020 Cash Calendar as an incentive for the first ten callers pledging or renewing their membership. On Thursday, September 12, the Orchestra of Northern New York will be taking calls and offering a pair of tickets to any of their upcoming shows to the first ten callers pledging or renewing their membership.
During the September Membership Drive, WPBS viewers will enjoy a week of exceptional programming – including several brand-new specials – as WPBS fundraises to continue the intelligent, vibrant programs and community events that viewers have come to know and love. Viewers will have the opportunity to renew support or make an additional gift during the September Membership Drive with special incentives offered around programs. To pledge, viewers can call 315-782-3142 or visit wpbstv.org/donate.
Anticipated programs and specials include: This Old House 40th Anniversary Special (Saturday, September 7 at 11am), Steven Page Trio – Live in Concert (Monday, September 9 at 7:30pm and Saturday, September 14 at 9:30pm), Country Music: Live at the Ryman (Sunday, September 8 at 8pm), and Jamestown Season 3 Premiere (Thursday, September 12 at 10pm).
