Watertown, NY- WPBS-DT has won three Awards of Merit from The Accolade Global Film Competition. The Awards of Merit were won for locally produced Building North Country Innovation, Bringing Caribbean Sounds To The North Country, which was made possible in part with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program and The Great Cable Carry, sponsored in part by the Daisy Marquis Jones Foundation. The Accolade recognizes film, television, videography and new media professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout entertainment or contribute to profound social change.
