WATERTOWN, NY (July 3, 2023) – WPBS is thrilled to announce a new chapter of WPBS Weekly: Inside the Stories as we introduce you to the show’s new host, seasoned television journalist and anchor Michael Riecke. Michael began his career in Binghamton in 1999, but is most noted for his work at WSYR-TV in Syracuse where he became the co-anchor of the top-rated morning show in the market. Today, this award-winning broadcast journalist and educator serves as a full-time professor of broadcasting and mass communication at the State University of New York at Oswego.
WPBS Weekly: Inside the Stories, the half hour magazine-format program exploring compelling stories from all across Northern New York and Eastern Ontario, premiered in April of 2021 on WPBS-TV. The show airs every Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm, repeating Saturday mornings at 7:00 am. Episodes can also be viewed online at watch.wpbstv.org. Tune in Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 7:30 pm to meet the new host.
