Former President Donald Trump was carried by Secret Service agents off stage after gunshots were heard near his rally Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Trump raised a fist in the air to the crowd as he was whisked away into a vehicle.
The Secret Service said that “the former President is safe” after an “incident occurred” at the rally.
The shooter is dead and a rally attendee was killed, the Butler County district attorney told The Associated Press.
