Retired Maj. David Grusch testified before a House Oversight subcommittee on July 26, saying that the U.S. likely has been aware of “non-human” activity since the 1930s. Grusch who in 2019 was detailed to the National Reconnaissance Office, the agency that operates U.S. spy satellites, testified that in the course of his work in identifying highly classified programs relating to “unidentified aerial phenomena,” that he was “informed in the course of my official duties of a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program to which I was denied access.”
