Usha Chilukuri Vance, wife of Sen. J.D. Vance, spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Wednesday, a day devoted to foreign policy and national security, as well as Vance’s formal acceptance of the vice presidential nomination.
“Raised by his grandmother through tough times, chosen to help lead our country through some of its greatest challenges, I am grateful to all of you for the trust you have placed in him and in our family,” Chilukuri Vance said.
Former President Donald Trump named Vance as his running mate Monday. During the convention, delegates will adopt a party platform and Trump will address the convention Thursday.
