Donald Trump thanked supporters Nov. 6 at his Florida election watch party as he declared himself the winner in what he called the “greatest political movement of all time.”
Trump spoke before the AP had declared a winner in the race, though results showed him with 267 electoral votes, three shy of the 270 needed to win.
Trump told the crowd he will fight for them with “every breath” in his body.
“Every citizen I will fight for you, for your family and your future every single day,” Trump said. “I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve,” Trump said.
