As protesters broke into the U.S. Capitol amid lawmakers meeting on the Electoral College vote count, PBS NewsHour’s Amna Nawaz describes the scene outside, saying “tensions have really increased.” The protesters, who were marching with Trump flags and paraphernalia, entered the building hours after a rally by the White House, where President Donald Trump addressed a crowd of his supporters for over an hour, and urged them to walk toward to Capitol together.
