Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., gave an opening statement on Dec. 19 as the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack presented its final findings to the public.

He said that former Attorney General Bill Barr told former President Donald Trump many times that there was no evidence of fraud in the 2020 election.

“He made clear that President Trump was doing ‘a great, great disservice to the country’ by pursuing them,” Kinzinger said.

The Jan. 6 committee will release its full report later this week as the panel wraps up its work.
