House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told fellow lawmakers that the nation’s democracy is at stake as they move forward with impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump. “This is not any cause for any glee or comfort,” Pelosi said ahead of a vote on a resolution that outlines how the inquiry will proceed. The resolution passed 232-196, largely along party lines.
