A pair of military veterans advocated for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in a taped segment at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
The short video is a response to recent Republican attacks against Walz that claim he’s been misrepresenting his military record on the campaign trail. Walz served in the Army National Guard for 24 years.
Wednesday night was focused on fighting “for our freedoms,” from democracy to reproductive rights and more.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will also formally accept the vice presidential nomination, a day before Vice President Kamala Harris takes the stage as the official nominee.
