WATCH: Michelle Obama says Trump was threatened by Obamas, warns he could distort truth about Harris

Former first lady Michelle Obama said Vice President Kamala Harris is “more than ready” to lead the nation, and called former President Donald Trump “unpresidential.”

Obama spoke on the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago Tuesday night, which was devoted to bringing “bold vision” to America’s future and a new generation of Democratic leadership.

Obama said Trump felt “threatened” by her and her husband, former President Barack Obama, “two hard working and highly educated, successful people who happen to be Black.”

To raucous cheers, she continued, “I want to know — who’s going to tell him that the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those ‘Black jobs?’”

Obama was referencing a moment at a National Association of Black Journalists conference when Trump referred to migrants taking “Black jobs.”

Conversely, Obama said, Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are two “good, big-hearted people.”

Later in the week, Harris and Walz will formally accept their nominations as the party’s candidates.
