In tribute to former first lady Rosalynn Carter, country music legends Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks performed John Lennon’s “Imagine” at a memorial service on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Carter died in November at age 96. A tribute service was held at Emory University and was attended by former President Jimmy Carter, members of their family, President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Douglas Emhoff, all of the other living former first ladies, the PBS NewsHour’s Judy Woodruff and many others.
