House Republicans will hold the first hearing in their impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden on Thursday, Sept. 28.
The hearing, held by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, aims to investigate Biden’s alleged involvement in his son Hunter’s business dealings. There is no public evidence to date to substantiate those allegations.
Witnesses called to testify at Thursday’s hearing include forensic accountant Bruce Dubinsky, former Assistant Attorney General Eileen O’Connor and Jonathan Turley, a professor at the George Washington University Law School.
PBS NewsHour’s streaming coverage of the hearing will begin at 9:30am ET.
