Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, who served as vice chair of the House January 6 Committee, is one of the most recognizable Republican congressional representatives who spoke out against President Trump and the lie that the 2020 presidential election was fraudulent. Cheney lost the 2022 midterm primary in Wyoming to a Trump-endorsed candidate who has embraced election falsehoods.
As Cheney prepares for life after Congress, she will join the City Club in conversation with PBS NewsHour anchor and managing editor Judy Woodruff, on Nov. 1 at 12:30 ET to offer her thoughts on the state of the nation and the future of the American democracy.
