Election Day 2024 has arrived. Millions of voters head to the polls to cast ballots in the race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. PBS News coverage begins at 12 p.m. EST on Nov. 5, with highlights from our year of election coverage. Starting at 3 p.m. EST, we’ll hear live updates from our correspondents in key battleground states and with the campaigns. The News Hour begins at 6 p.m. EST, and special coverage begins at 7 p.m., anchored by Geoff Bennett and Amna Nawaz in the studio. Throughout the evening, we’ll hear from Lisa Desjardins, who will be at the superscreen tracking race data and local race results; Laura Barrón-López , who will be with the Harris campaign in Washington, D.C.; William Brangham, who will be in Florida with the Trump campaign; John Yang, who will be reporting from the battleground state of Pennsylvania; Stephanie Sy, who will be in Maricopa County, Arizona ,and Miles O’Brien, who will be in Fulton County, Georgia.
