The fourth and final night of the 2024 Republican National Convention kicks off July 18 in Milwaukee, with former President Donald Trump and JD Vance as the party’s official nominees for the Republican presidential ticket. PBS News’ special coverage begins with our nightly broadcast at 6 p.m. EDT. The RNC’s theme for the day is “Make America Great Once Again,” and Trump is expected to cap the evening with an official address accepting his party’s nomination.
