WATCH: Is social media the right place to get financial advice? 3 experts weigh in

Financial advice is exploding online, especially for younger generations. Almost 80 percent of millennials and Gen Z have said they’ve received financial advice from social media sites like TikTok, according to a 2023 Forbes survey. But, just because that financial advice is trending, it doesn’t always mean it’s good. PBS News’ Cecilia Lallmann spoke with three personal finance experts about how to navigate the wild landscape of financial advice.
