Dr. Ashish Jha of Harvard’s Global Health Initiative told PBS NewsHour’s William Brangham that if the United States had acted earlier to shut down the country to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus, fewer people would have gotten sick and died. Jha and Brangham took audience questions on May 21 about when and how the U.S. should approach reopening.
