Hunter Biden agreed to a tentative plea deal with federal prosecutors on Tuesday related to two misdemeanor tax crimes and a gun charge. If a federal judge approves the proposed agreement, Biden will plead guilty to failing to pay his taxes in 2017 and 2018. He has since paid the $1.7 million dollars in taxes back to the IRS. Additionally, he will enter a pretrial diversion agreement for a charge tied to falsifying information on government documents required to purchase a firearm. The program is not a guilty plea but would remove the crime from his record if the conditions of the agreement are successfully completed.
