Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on Tuesday appeared at his first campaign rally with Vice President Kamala Harris in Philadelphia hours after she selected him to join her 2024 ticket. In the rally, Walz detailed his personal connection to fertility treatments, saying he and his wife tried for years to have children and eventually were able to, thanks to fertility treatments. Saying government should stay out of people’s personal medical choices, the Democratic vice presidential nominee saying those lawmakers should “mind your own damn business.”
