During President Joe Biden’s first press conference in office, he said he’ll make progress on four challenges facing his administration: climate change, immigration reform, gun control and voting rights.
“I plan on making progress on all of them, but that’s going to be for the American people to decide,” Biden said.
Biden pointed to his early success in getting the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package passed, amid a partisan climate and with a slim majority in the U.S. Senate.
“I’ve been hired to solve problems … not create division,” the president added.
