Attorney General Merrick Garland on Monday gave details of a case where there were arrests and charges made against people that were harassing someone living in the U.S. to return to China as part of a larger plot that Beijing calls “Operation Fox Hunt.” The harassment was part of a larger attempt to obstruct a U.S. criminal investigation of Chinese tech giant Huawei by offering bribes to someone they thought could provide inside information, the Justice Department said Monday.
