Former President Donald Trump criticized Jewish voters Thursday, saying they should have their “heads examined” if they support Vice President Kamala Harris.
“If I don’t win this election, and the Jewish people would really have a lot to do with that … 60% of the people are voting for the enemy,” Trump said, citing an unnamed poll.
He added that Israel will “cease to exist” if Harris wins in November.
The former president spoke in Washington, D.C. at an Israeli American Council event on fighting antisemitism.
Trump recounted his record in the White House, saying he was the “best friend Israel ever had.”
The comments come as the Trump campaign tries to distance itself from North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson following the release of a CNN report. The report details how Robinson made inflammatory racial and sexual remarks on a website and referred to himself as a “black NAZI!.”
