Most elementary, middle and high schools across our region have now closed for the summer. As families consider their options for summer activities which are fun and educational, WPBS is stepping up to provide another season of CAMP TV – an on-demand day camp experience available on the device of your choosing. Head counselor Zachary Noah Piser, guides “campers” as they learn through play. Partners include Carnegie Hall, Exploratorium, Memphis Zoo, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New Victory Theater, NY Public Library, OK Go, They Might Be Giants and more.
The WPBS website also has a rich variety of educational activities and resources that can make for great summer fun while helping to combat “summer slide” and keeping young learners ready for the return of in-person school in the fall.
