Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has entered its second month with no signs of an end or peace deal. Millions of Ukrainians have fled and indiscriminate bombing of cities and civilian centres continue, prompting comparisons with the Chechnyan war. Kimlberly Marten, political science professor at Barnard College at Columbia University joins to discuss the invasion and what can be gleaned from Russia’s past aggressions.
