New poll shows Americans want congressional cooperation, but expect gridlock

We are three weeks away from the start of a split congress with Republicans controlling the House and Democrats controlling the Senate. Our latest PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll asked a divided electorate for their takes on the future of democracy, what they want to see from this new congress and how they view the two parties.
