WPBS-TV and the Watertown Daily Times present More to the Story: Gun Ownership in the North Country, airing on WPBS-TV on Sunday, June 24th at 6:30 pm, and rebroadcasting on Saturday, June 30th at 6:30pm. This edition of More to the Story explores the gun culture in Northern New York. As State and Federal Legislators debate the place of guns in America, gun owners in the North Country have seemingly gone about life as normal.  More to the Story explores how this population carries on the sport, utility, and history of guns in Northern New York with a normalcy and identify in high contrast to the dialogue raging downstate. The program’s producers interviewed members from the Lyme Rod and Gun Club, the Harrisville Trap League, Indivisible Lowville, and some local gun owners to discuss the hopes, fears, and solutions involving the role of guns in our society. Look for the print edition in The Times on Sunday June 24th.    In July, More to the Story will feature Family Farms.  The television edition will air on July 22nd and 28th at 6:30pm.
