To celebrate, support and learn about Pride Month, join WPBS-TV and the Flower Memorial Library for a free film screening of POV production: “Pier Kids” directed by Elegance Bratton, Monday, June 19th from 6-8pm at the South Reading Room, Flower Library, Watertown. This powerfully empathetic documentary is an immersion into the lives of the homeless queer and transgender youth who have forged a community of their own on downtown Manhattan’s Christopher Street Pier. A discussion will follow, led by a guest speaker from the Q Center.
