WPBS-TV is excited to bring you the social event of the season!

Join the cast of the Butler Did It Players to solve The Case of the Broken Heart at the world-famous Boldt Castle on Heart Island – inspired by Miss Scarlet and the Duke! Saturday, September 30th from 6-9pm, dress in your finest period costumes and try to solve the mystery.

General admission tickets (SOLD OUT) $100.00/pp- WPBS Members $95/pp– includes hot hors d’oeuvres buffet and two drink tickets (21 and over), transportation to Boldt Castle and admittance to the show. VIP admission tickets (SOLD OUT) $125.00- WPBS Members $120.00– includes second floor balcony viewing and private buffet and drinks, an additional secret scene to the mystery, a professional commemorative photo, and a Royal Title fitting the Order of the Sapphire! VIPs will also be announced to the assembled guests as they descend the Grand Staircase of Boldt Castle!

Due to the nature of this event, we ask that all attendees should be 18 and over.

The clever guest who solves the mystery will receive an overnight stay and breakfast, at Bonnie Castle Resort in Alexandria Bay, courtesy of the resort!

As a fine lady or lord upon the dance floor, try to solve the mystery of “The Case of the Broken Heart” on a beautiful fall evening in the jewel of the Thousand Islands, Boldt Castle – 1000 Islands, NY.

Guests will arrive at Boldt Castle courtesy of Uncle Sam Boat Tours. Enjoy the finest in family-owned service since 1926! Transport to Boldt Castle for the event departs promptly at 6:15 pm at the Alexandria Bay dock.

Our event couldn’t even happen without the massive talents of the wildly popular local acting troupe The Butler Did It Players. You’ll remember them from our Singer Castle caper, and many other shenanigans all throughout the North Country! Interactive, fun and exciting productions that make you feel like YOU are part of the show! Don’t miss this amazing event and their spectacular entertainment!

Our story takes place in the Victorian Era of England, and the Gilded Age of America! Have fun dressing up in the best period costumes to fully immerse yourself in this spectacular event. Costumes are not required, but highly encouraged! Dress code is Evening dress casual, please no flip flops or shorts.

Will it be a dark and stormy night? Or a picturesque golden evening amongst the leaves? Boldt Castle’s beauty always dazzles, and our event is on rain or shine, as we will be fully indoors for the show! Closed to the public for the evening, this is a rare chance to experience the castle in the mysterious twilight! Don’t miss your chance to enjoy this spectacular event!

Information for Registered Guests:

Event check-in begins at 5:30 pm at the Uncle Sam boat dock, 45 James St, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607. Upon arrival, please visit the check-in table to receive your program. If you require assistance with a mobility support device or require seating due to disability, please notify staff upon check-in. This event will continue rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, we will advise our guests of any relevant changes.

Boarding will begin approximately at 5:50 pm. VIP guests will board first.

The boat will disembark PROMPTLY at 6:15 pm.

There will be no other transportation provided to the castle if you miss the boat, and no refunds will be given. Please plan your arrival time accordingly, especially if you are required to cross the border.

REMINDER- This event does NOT have a full sit-down service dinner.

After the event concludes at approximately 8:45 pm, guests will board and disembark at 9:00 pm sharp to return to the Uncle Sam Alexandria Bay dock.
