East Charity Shoal Lighthouse, 7 miles off Cape Vincent, NY
– In 1929, the 35-foot lighthouse off the Lake Erie shore near Vermillion, Ohio, was dismantled.
– It was moved to upstate New York and became the East Charity Shoal Light.
– Located 7 miles off Cape Vincent
– Still operates as a reference point for ships navigating the St. Lawrence Seaway.
