Constable Hall in Constableville, New York, is one of our region’s oldest historic homes. Now a museum, the mansion is open for tours and events. The house has a surprising connection to the poem, “A Visit From St. Nicholas,” probably better known as “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Penned by Constable cousin, Clement Clarke Moore.
