Canfield Roots Preview

In the mid 1800s Black freedom seekers journeyed from the United States north to Canada. They settled across southern Ontario and built homes, raised their families and created a legacy for their descendants. Many of these families lived in the small village of Canfield, not far from the Grand River. An abandoned cemetery is all that remains of these settlers and it’s under threat of passing into history itself.
