WPBS is fully aware of the disappointment and frustration of our viewers in the Ottawa area, eastern Ontario Canada.  For the past few weeks, we have experienced three different failures, which has made this issue a nightmare to troubleshoot.  It truly has made the matter more confusing and convoluted for our engineers.

WPBS is confident the problem is resolved.  WPBS is rebroadcasting programs that were missed during that time as follows:  Masterpiece Mystery – Miss Marple, Saturdays at 8 pm beginning November 1 with “A Caribbean Mystery;”  Saturday, Nov. 8 at 8:00 pm “Greenshaw’s Folly;” and Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8:00 pm “Endless Night.”  Masterpiece Mystery – Inspector Lewis is rebroadcast as follows:  Sunday, Nov. 9 at 3:30 pm “Entry Wounds;” Sunday, Nov . 16 at 3:30 pm “Lions of Nemea;” and, Sunday, Nov. 23 at 3:30pm “Beyond Good & Evil.”

In addition, we are willing to automatically extend memberships for our members in Ottawa that would like us to do so.  We cannot thank you enough for your patience and understanding.  Digital technology has many more moving parts than analogue did, and it is much harder to find the culprit of such an annoying problem.

Thanks again, and please let us know if we can renew your membership for you.

Best Wishes,

Lynn Brown
President & General Manager
