Xpedition Outdoors

Season 2

WPBS-DT, Watertown, announces the second season of Xpedition Outdoors, a local adventure series, in high-definition, with host Dana Reid. This six part adventure series highlights scenic attractions and events in New York State. Xpedition Outdoors Season 2 will premiere on WPBS-DT, Tuesday, June 28th at 7:30pm, and will re-broadcast Saturday mornings at 7am.

WPBS-DT has been a long-time advocate for advancing travel and tourism by sharing the beauty of our region with others through the power of public media. This series emphasizes the beauty and abundance of the natural resources found in the North Country, which includes scuba diving in the St. Lawrence River, bicycling around North Creek, NY, participating in the Woodsmens Field Days in Boonville, NY and enjoying the activities from the 2015 Tri-Rivers District Scout Camporee at Southwick Beach State Park. Each episode employs the use of a point of view camera, creating a unique first person experience of each adventure! WPBS-DT will host a free screening of the Highlight Episode at the View Arts Center, located at 3273 NY-28, Old Forge, NY on Friday, July 29th at 6pm.
