WPBS-TV’s Commitment to Public Affairs

This year marks the 100th anniversary of broadcast news, and fittingly it started with reporting of a presidential election between Warren G. Harding and James Cox. A century later the world is different in so many ways, but the importance of providing accurate and timely information remains.
Thank you for following WPBS, and if you are a past or present supporter we especially thank you for ensuring our programming is free for everyone across our service region. At a time when some online and on-air media outlets provide misleading and misrepresented information, having a sober trusted perspective on matters of public interest has never been more essential. With your support we will continue to provide that perspective for many years to come. We are grateful for your support, thank you.
