Host, Don Meissner, kicks off season five of Fishing Behind the Lines on Lake Ontario. Don teams up with Captain Ed Monnete and first Mate Hunter Wosjlaw, of Cannon Ball Charters, to take guest, Ed Smalls, fishing for the first time. The group leaves Oswego Harbor in search of lake trout and salmon.

Bundle up as host, Don Meissner, takes to a frigid stream in Oswego County, New York, with guest, Tom Bryant, and volunteer, Michael Ortiz. The three men wade the cold waters in search of the salmon and steelhead that swim their way up the rivers from Lake Ontario.
