Vice President Kamala Harris will not address the crowd at her Howard University watch party on election night.
Harris campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond told supporters that had been waiting hours for Harris, to head home just after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
“We still have votes to count, we still have states that have not been called yet. We will continue overnight to fight to make sure that every vote is counted, that every voice has spoken,” Richmond said.
Richmond said Harris will address the nation from Howard later on Wednesday.
