Former President Barack Obama said America “can be and must be a force for good” during his keynote Tuesday at 2024 Democratic National Convention.
Fighting disease, promoting human rights, addressing climate change, defending freedom and brokering peace were among the priorities he laid out for the crowd.
“That’s what Kamala Harris believes, and so do most Americans,” he said.
Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the top of the ticket in their respective remarks. Harris will formally accept the party’s nomination for president Thursday.
