In an exclusive interview Thursday with PBS News, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz tells Amna Nawaz that both Republicans and Democrats are “very clear” on the importance of NATO.
“There is constantly a clear understanding of both parties, that NATO is in the interest of the United States, and this commitment is very strong,” he said.
Scholz is in Washington this week for the NATO summit.
