WPBS-TV is pleased to announce “WPBS Short Flix”. “WPBS Short Flix” is a series of digital videos, soon to be available on YouTube. “WPBS Short Flix” will offer viewers educational and entertaining local content in line with WPBS-DT’s mission to focus on Education, Economic Development, Travel & Tourism and Arts & Culture. “WPBS Short Flix” will offer videos to engage and attract digital savvy audiences with content on demand that will feature creative, informative, and educational programs in a variety of categories. Currently, WPBS-DT has committed to a series of digital video vignettes entitled “Countryside”, with host Jay Matteson. Jay Matteson is the current Executive Director of the Jefferson County Agricultural Development Council and brings a diverse background of knowledge in biology and environmental sciences. WPBS-DT is committed to experimenting with new formats to consistently engage viewers. “WPBS Short Flix” is scheduled to debut in 2016.
