WPBS-TV Premieres Season 4 of MASTERPIECE’s Miss Scarlet and the Duke January 7, 2024

WATERTOWN, NY; January 4, 2024 – With a new year, comes an all-new season of period crime thriller Miss Scarlet and the Duke, featuring the headstrong, first-ever female detective in Victorian London. Season 4 begins Sunday, January 7, 2024, and will run Sunday nights at 8:00 PM through February 11, 2024 on MASTERPIECE on WPBS-TV.

In Season 4, Eliza has taken over the business of Nash & Sons (not that he has any sons) and things are not going entirely smoothly, although help comes from some familiar sources. Outside of work, her relationship with William (the Duke) builds towards a looming decision that will shape both their lives.

On New Year’s Day, January 1, 2024, Miss Scarlet and the Duke fans received an unexpected holiday treat: an all day Season 1 Marathon.

All six episodes of the new season will be available to binge starting on the night of its broadcast premiere with

EPISODE DESCRIPTIONS

Episode One: “Elysium” – Sunday, January 7, 2024; 8-9 pm

Eliza teams up with Duke to investigate a burglary in a high-end brothel whose clients include important members of the British government.

Episode Two: “Six Feet Under” – Sunday, January 14, 2024; 8-9 pm

When a close friend of Mr. Potts is murdered, Eliza finds herself investigating the dark and macabre world of Victorian undertakers.

Episode Three: “Origins” – Sunday, January 21, 2024; 8-9 pm

The story of how it all began. It’s twelve years earlier and Duke and Eliza meet for the very first time.

Episode Four: “The Diamond Feather” – Sunday, January 28, 2024; 8-9 pm

Things are going well for Eliza until a familiar face shows up to question her role at Nash & Sons. Meanwhile, Duke receives an offer that brings their relationship to a crisis point.

Episode Five: “The Calling” – Sunday, February 4, 2024; 8-9 pm

Eliza and Nash are still struggling to work together when an explosive case takes them into a cutthroat industry where people will kill to keep their secrets.

Episode Six: “The Fugitive” – Sunday, February 11, 2024; 8-9 pm

Eliza is on the trail of a fugitive who is charged with murder. She must find him before the police do or risk losing everything.

Miss Scarlet and The Duke is an ELEMENT 8 ENTERTAINMENT production co-produced with MASTERPIECE in association with 87 Films, Other Mans Shoes and Work in Progress. Created by Rachael New, the series is written by Rachael New and Ben Edwards.
