WATERTOWN, NY (November 21, 2023) – WPBS-TV ends off the month each November with amazing musical performances. This year’s lineup – kicking off November 24th and running through November 30th – includes Barbra Streisand, Bryan Adams, Neil Diamond, Lawrence Welk, Cyndi Lauper, the American Pops Orchestra, ABBA tribute band ARRIVAL from Sweden, and the Rolling Stones.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 24
Great Performances: Celebrating 50 Years of Broadway’s Best (9:00 pm)
Enjoy a revue of milestone Broadway shows and songs from 1973 to 2023 hosted by two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster. Features performances by Andre De Shields, Chita Rivera, Vanessa Williams and more from Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25
Classic Christmas (4:00 pm)
Join hosts Gavin MacLeod and Marion Ross for this festive, all-star special of favorite carols and popular standards. Performers include Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, The Carpenters and many more.
Lawrence Welk Holiday Special: Great Moments and Memories (6:00 pm)
Nine stars of the Lawrence Welk Musical Family are reunited to host this special – featuring great moments and memories spanning 30 years of Christmas holiday shows.
Love Train: Sound of Philadelphia (9:00 pm)
A dynamic concert featuring soul and R&B superstars The O Jays, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, Russell Thompkins and the New Stylistics, Jerry Butler, The Soul Survivors, The Delphonics, and many more.
Yacht Rock Revue: 70s & 80s Hits, Live From New York (10:30 pm)
A talented group sets sail on a nostalgic journey through the hits of the late 70s and early 80s, where soft rock and smooth grooves rule the waves.

Willie Nelson: Live at Budokan (5:00 pm)
Grab a front-row seat to this 1984 Tokyo concert, one of Nelson’s live legendary performances. Filmed at Budokan, the famous martial arts hall, the show features an amazing collection of Nelson’s greatest hits.
The Highwaymen Live at Nassau Coliseum (6:30 pm)
Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson were American country music’s first bonafide “supergroup.” Recorded at the famous arena in Hempstead, Long Island, in 1990, the concert includes classic songs.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27
Barbra Streisand: Back to Brooklyn (7:00 pm)
For two magical nights in October 2012, hometown legend Barbra Streisand made a triumphant return to her roots and the borough where it all started.
Neil Diamond: Thank you Australia (9:00 pm)
American legend, Neil Diamond ,delivers an enthralling performance of a true showman in this concert from the Sydney Sports Stadium.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28
How Great Thou Art (8:00 pm)
Filmed at National United Methodist in Washington, DC, this new concert special features performances across classical, pop, Motown, and country genres.
Cyndi Lauper Live at Last (9:30 pm)
Twenty years after her debut album made her an icon, singer Cyndi Lauper performed an intimate concert at New York’s Town Hall. Filmed in 2004, this special features dramatic renditions of her greatest hits.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 29
Arrival From Sweden: The Music of ABBA (7:00 pm)
Delivering with such accuracy that it’s hard to believe it’s not the real ABBA onstage, ARRIVAL from Sweden will perform many of ABBA’s greatest hits.
Bryan Adams Live at Royal Albert Hall (8:30 pm)
Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist Bryan Adams performs from the famed venue in London – featuring his greatest hits, including “Cuts Like A Knife,” “Summer of ’69,” “Heaven,” and many more.
Ann Wilson & Tripsitter: Live in Concert (10:00 pm)
Known the world over as founder and lead singer-songwriter of the barrier-breaking band Heart, Ann Wilson headlines a new concert special with her band Tripsitter.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 30
Rolling Stones Rock & Roll Circus (9:00 pm)
In 1968, the Stones headlined “Rock and Roll Circus,” a planned TV special that mated aerialists, fire-eaters, and acrobats with the day’s top rock talent. Filmed on a makeshift circus stage with Jethro Tull, The Who, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, and the Rolling Stones. John Lennon and his fiancee Yoko Ono performed as part of a one-shot supergroup called The Dirty Mac, featuring Eric Clapton on guitar, Mitch Mitchell (of The Jimi Hendrix Experience) on drums, and the Stones’ Keith Richards on bass.
Mannheim Steamroller 30/40 Live (10:30 pm)
Celebrate 30 years of musical holiday magic and 40 years of groundbreaking “Fresh Aire” compositions with this milestone special from the American group known for blending classical music and rock. Includes interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
