WPBS Supports YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day and M2M Run to Glory June 10, 2023

WATERTOWN, NY (May 25, 2023); WPBS-TV is proud to be attending YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day, Saturday June 10th, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, at Thompson Park Monument Hill in Watertown. Visit the WPBS table to play Blindfold Bowling and enjoy an event full of healthy outdoor kids’ activities, organized by the YMCA. This event supports the M2M (Monument to Monument) Run to Glory, where North Country neighbors are invited to demonstrate their support of the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) by running alongside active duty, reserve, National Guard, and retired service members. The city is coordinating with food trucks and will be opening Thompson Park pool and splash pad along with providing support for the day. “As a leading provider of educational media, we at WPBS understand the importance of good physical and mental health for our youth” said Mark Prasuhn, President and General Manager, WPBS-TV. “We’re delighted to be participating in Healthy Kids Day this year and thank the organizers and the many volunteers who make this event happen for the benefit of our local community.”
