A Total Solar Eclipse is one of the most spectacular natural events on Earth – and on the afternoon of Monday, April 8, 2024, New Yorkers in the western and northern parts of the state will be able to witness this rare occurrence! Between 3:15 pm and 3:30 pm, the moon will pass between the earth and sun, turning day into night for up to 4 minutes.
