1701 - Season Premiere
Bill shares highlights from this upcoming season. Included are details from travels
in Northern Italy, Quebec, and the Eastern Basin of Lake Ontario. The crew fish for
huge catfish, walleye, salmon, and even a muskellunge. Bill also shares some of his
favorite episodes from the past.
1702 - Pop R's with Zell Rowland (Retro show #1308)
Bill joins fishing pro Zell Rowland for some exciting large mouth bass fishing at the 777
Ranch in South Texas. The "Pop R" is the lure of choice and it brings in a great
catch of fish.
1703 - Ciao Catfish
Bill's long-time friend, Mark McQuown, along with Englishman John Scott, travel to
Northern Italy to fish the Po River for monster catfish. Guide Gaetano Borghi leads them
to battle against five catfish weighting about 100 pounds each. Don't miss a minute of
this once-in-a-lifetime trip to "The Old Country."

Kansas hunting guide Steve Seymour joins Bill in Camp Adventure, located in the northern
wilderness of Quebec, for a northern pike fishing adventure.
1705 - Teaching Young Guides Old Tricks
Club Cap Natashquan is the site for Arctic Char and land-locked Salmon fishing. Bill
receives some advice from guide Claude Rigaud, makes some slight adjustments to his
tackle, then takes the teacher to school by out-fishing everyone in camp. Watch this

1706 - Senior on Stripers (Retro show #1105)
Senior fisherman and guide, R.L. Flanagan, a former Texas conservation officer, takes Bill
fishing for striped bass on the famous Texas Lake Spence. Top water striper action and
stories from R.L.'s law enforcement past make for an exciting half hour.

While fishing for brown trout on Lake Ontario, Ducks Unlimited auction winners Tim Wright

1711 - In Search of the Waterwolf (Retro show #1408)
Lac Perdu, Quebec is the setting for this action-packed edition of Rod & Reel where
Bill and outfitter Michael Auclair go head to head on the water wolves (northern pike) of
Lac Perdu.
1712 - Dogs, Kids, and Waterwolf Pups (Retro show #1426)
The highlight of the fourteenth season. Young Billy Coffin, a.k.a. "Dennis the
Menace," joins Bill to show off his fishing skills against the young northern pike
"waterwolf pups."
1713 - Rooting for Walleyes
Bill invites good friend Charlie Root aboard the Rod & Reel for a grand day of
fishing. Despite his physical limitations, Charlie lands several smallmouth bass and some
gorgeous walleyes.

1714 - Gotta-Bite Reds in the Reeds (Retro show #1413)
Bill joins fishing professional Billy Murray on the reed flats in Venice, Louisiana for
some hot and heavy action with Louisiana Red fish.
1715 - Class of '55
Three of Bill's former classmates join him as they search for the big salmon in the
eastern basin of Lake Ontario. Fun is the order of the day as these fishermen cheer each
other on and gather a nice catch in the process.
1716 - Here Comes the Neighborhood
Bill finally gets the chance to take his next door neighbor fishing. Tiffany Chatman, at
age 13, catches the only muskellunge ever taken aboard the Rod & Reel. Not to be
outdone, however, her younger brother Lee lands a beautiful king salmon. Their dad,
Freddie, also catches his first-ever king salmon.

1717 - Prince and the Shark (Retro Show #1011)
Longtime friend, Joe Prince, joins Bill on his first ocean tuna trip. When a giant
shark shows up, Joe makes the mistake of teasing it with bait, and bites off more than he
can physically chew.
1718 - Rods, Camera, Action (Part I)
Bill returns to Club Cap Natashquan for some great fishing action. While trolling for
landlocked salmon and brook trout in northern Quebec, Bill decides to give his camera man
a rod to see if he's been paying attention.

1719 - Rods, Camera, Action (Part II)
Once again, Bill takes George Haley, his cameraman, fishing in the pristine waters of
Northern Quebec. Bill is surprised to find the "Mighty Big O," one of his
favorite bass lures, is also a good weapon against landlocked salmon.

1720 - Waterwolves at the Surface (Retro show #1508)
Last fall, Bill was hunting at the Caniapiscau Reservoir, he discovered the best
northern pike fishing he had ever seen. In this episode, he returns to Caniapiscau where
an action-packed water bonanza ensues.

1721 - Fishing for Footballs
An early April morning finds Bill and his son Bill Saiff III on the south shore of
Lake Ontario. The two captains share their experiences and technical knowledge on a
very successful brown trout adventure.
1722 - Charlie Campbell on Small Mouth (Retro Show #1218)
Branson, Missouri is the setting for some cold water smallmouth bass fishing.
Professional Bass Angler, Charlie Campbell shows Bill how to "Walk" a
Zarra-Spook through some obstacles on Table Rock Lake. Good times and good techniques make
up this week's episode.
1723 - The Forgotten Two
The eastern basin of Lake Ontario has always had a reputation for monster brown trout

Bill and guest, Aurele Shattler, get themselves in trouble with the cook, Gladys Belvin,
when they eat too many brook trout salmon for lunch, and like kids, spoil their supper.

Brown trout, steelhead and coho salmon all make an appearance aboard the Rod &
Reel Jr. Bill and his son Bill Saiff III enjoy an early spring outing on the south
